The Research Of Doctors’ Image In Internet News

In recent years, with the expensive medical expenses and shortage of medical resources becoming the difficulty and focus of China’s medical reform, the discussion of doctors’ image has become the social hot spot. Now, with the background of the fast development of internet and information technology, the public’s knowledge about doctors’ image has made complicated change.My paper tries to analyze lots of internet news to discuss the construction of doctors’ image and its characters, and further to find some problem and thought in the process of construction.First, my paper analyzes the current study results about this discussion, expounds the background of this research and puts forward the research questions.Second, my paper analyzes812pieces of internet news about doctor in2011and2012from Baidu News, and gets the following conclusion:(1) Doctors’ image in internet news slightly inclined to negative which subverted the publics’ impressive.(2) Extremism and modeling exist in internet news on doctor.(3) The doctor group’s survival condition and their situation in medical disputes has become a new trend of medial reports.At last, my article tries to discuss the construction of doctors’ image from the view of hospital, media, government and citizen, then puts forward my thoughts.
