With the change in the mode of marketing and the development of the economic, more and more e-commerce companies such as Taobao, Amazon, and360buy emerge. And we are increasingly high requirements for warehousing aspects. More specialized services, less warehousing costs provided by third-party warehousing company can be meet the needs for large-scale e-commerce company with the characteristic of frequent in or out of storage and diversity of items. RFID is a widely used information technology.The application of RFID technology in warehousing management can reduce storage costs; improve operational efficiency; providing customers with more value-added services.The RFID middleware for Third-Party warehousing designed in this paper based on the characteristics of Third-Party warehousing and RFID middleware technology and WebService technology.Firstly, the RFID middleware technology and its related research are researched. And the mainstream middleware products are introduced.Secondly, the mainstream of the RFID middleware architecture standards are introduced. Clarify the middleware is based on the EPCglobal framework and its related middleware specification.According to the characteristics of the aforementioned theoretical basis and characteristics of third-party warehousing, RFID applies to the Third-Party storage solutions is put forwarded. And the RFID middleware architecture is divided into four.The four-layer architecture includes the reader management layer, data processing layer, event management and warehousing business layer. Device management layer primarily provides a unified interface for readers which follow different protocols and barcode equipment which are still widely used. As well as monitoring the readers, when a fault occurs, an alarm to notify staff. Data processing layer is mainly the cleaning of the original RFID data and the tag data format conversion. Reduce complexity of data processing for Upper application. Event management is the mainly to subscribe events based on the interesting of upper application and set logical readers and to release client subscription services via WebService. The warehousing business layer is a combination of warehouse management features with some basic warehousing operations, such as warehousing goods tracking positioning and forklift positioning and scheduling. Description algorithms about forklift positioning and made improvements to the adjacent location algorithm based on the reference label. Positioning accuracy has increased.Finally, the RFID middleware in test is proved to be feasibility.
