Radio frequency identification is a information processing technology that use radio waves to automatically identify identity.RFID has broad application prospects in retail, logistics, transportation, medical care, national defense, etc. RFID Middleware is the core of enterprise-level RFID application system, it hides the diversity of the lower hardware devices and simplifies the complexity of the application-level systems. Nowadays, the major software vendors usually sell it as part of enterprise suite. For those small and medium-sized enterprises that already have enterprise application system, how to integrate the existing application systems and the fund needed to purchase these enterprise suite are problems they face.Based on the researches on typical RFID middleware solution, this paper design a J2EE-based RFID middleware model.This model consists of such three levels as proxy reader service, message service bus system and application services. The proxy reader service collect raw data from the bottom level of the readers. The message service bus system is the core of the whole system and mainly applied in processing message for protocol decoupling, content extraction, content-based routing. it can be divided into two parts: the message service bus and the binding component and service engine on this bus, Binding components and service engines communicate through the normalized message router.There is a clear function and communication interface among the three levels. These levels are independent but coordinating with one another. The system design complies with the principle of: "high cohesion and low coupling."This paper describes the process of realizing the RFID middleware through the employment of ServiceMix, Camel and the Web Services technology, JMX technology, etc. The realization of the cluster and load balance ensure high reliability system and unexpected visit.
