With the development of science and technology, the processing of the lens has beenrapidly developed, mold-free processing automatic milling machine has been widely used inlen-processing. Free use of contact lens profile measurement mode processing automaticmilling machine, due to the probe contact lens, which bring the lens scratches and probe wear,simultaneous measurement of a long time. The use of non-contact measurement can overcomethe shortcomings which contact measurement brings, improving measurement efficiency andreducing production costs.Anatomy of a mold-free home and abroad understanding of the milling machine andlinear CCD data acquisition system based on linear CCD lens profile measurement, mainlyfor the following aspects of the design:(1) The design of lens shape measuring: the overall measurement program analysis anddesign of the light source, selection of data acquisition scheme and design of the sophisticatedmobile platform;(2)The hardware design of measuring system: including the selection of various hardwaredevices, as well as the drive circuit design of stepper motors and linear CCD;(3) The software design of measuring system: programming to implement informationcommunication between upper computer and the lower machine, drive control of linear CCDand stepper motor;(4) Data processing and contour showing: analyzing the data gathered to perform dataprocessing and then display the contour of the lens in the end.Verified by experiments, the present design is applicable to measure different thicknesses,size and contour of the lens at a low cost, and the measurement accuracy meets therequirements of machining precision.
