With the rapid development and applying of Wire in China and foreigncountries, it becomes the key element in some movies and shows and plays animportant role in the opening ceremony of2008Olympic Games. With theautomation equipment and the position control of Wire becoming a very populartopic, if we can develop a Wire automation control system which istechnologically advanced and stable and reliable, it will not only bringsignificant social and economic benefits, but also improve the development ofWire technique in the stage machinery industry area.The location of Wire control system including the whole program andelectrical control system is designed to solve the problems such assafe,accurate,complexity and higher human requirement on control to achievebetter control goals.In this paper the control system is designed to drive the Wire move alongthe given curve, discussed the PLC based fuzzy PID control of asynchronousmotor and closed-loop control of the speed of the stepper motor.After analyzing the different synchronous control strategy, the Master-slavecontrol finally been adopted in the design of synchronous control System. Theuse of VVVF technology can not only make the motors speed adjustment easierbut also save electrical energy efficiently.The control system is designed using PLC as the master controller,and theprogram is put forward.Control circuits,control theory and control proceduresare illuminated.Mainly designed of the position control program of the steppermotor and synchronous control program of asynchronous motor, completed theprogram design of fuzzy PID controller and PID controller in PLC.Features of the configuration software IFIX is dissertated. Theman-machine interface system——“Wire Monitoring Interface”is designed,which is gifted at safe and simple operation so that we can monitor the statusof the operating system easily and detect and rule out the fault quickly.Finally, all research work has been summarized, other questions ofmulti-motor synchronous control system are simply analyzed, and the direction of future researching is described.
