With the development of electric drive technology, industrial automation degreegradually increase and the continued expansion of production scale, the drive system of thetraditional single-motor has been difficult to meet the needs of modern large-scale production,most of the production system need to adopt a multi-motor synchronous drive control methodachieve. In many areas, this approach has been widely used, such as galvanizing and picklingline, color coating production line, printing production lines, continuous bending andstraightening machine production line. Synchronization performance between multiple motorsbecome more and more important in these production lines, and its direct impact on thesystem stability and product quality. Therefore, in order to improve production efficiency,yield and quality of products, many scholars has been the problem of multi-motorsynchronous control in the study, the subject is to a company of continuous bending andstraightening machine project as the background, to study the multi-motor the synchronizationbetween the drive control problems.Firstly this article on the basis of analysis the process and characteristics of thecontinuous bending and straightening unit, and according to the unit on the control precisionand stability requirements, adopt the multi-motor parallel-coupling control strategy based onthe fuzzy PID control algorithm. This project main drive part is composed of fourteen motors,this paper only for the project in a tension roll group of the four motors research. The crewused a DC transmission system, this article analyzes the working principle of DC motor andspeed control principle, in addition, in-depth study of the fuzzy PID control algorithm, andthis algorithm is applied in the multi-motor parallel-coupling control strategy, which lastthrough MATLAB simulation software simulation of the control strategy. Simulation resultsshow that the strategy is superior than pure PID control method, which improves theperformance of the dynamic response of the system, improves the control precision, to verifythe effectiveness of the control strategy.Secondly, after the process characteristics and control strategies, the paper establishes themulti motor synchronous drive control system design. The multi motor synchronous drivecontrol system design make up of the hardware design and the software design, the hardwarepart includes PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) controller, control device, communication device, the software part on multi-motor synchronous control system relatedprogram function block and PC screen programming. This paper detailedly introduces theworking principle of the main components of the hardware design and function of eachsubroutine block software design flow.Finally, the project in some alloy plate company of Ningbo city on-site productiondebugging, the final debugging results so that the entire operation of unit is more stable, whileimproving the multi-motor control accuracy and dynamic response performance, improvedmulti-motor synchronous performance. Improvements of the technology in the continuousbending and straightening machine production line is widely used, it has great practicalsignificance of the improvement of the quality of products such as plate and strip.
