Design And Implementation Of Universities Post Graduate Management System

With the gradual expansion of universities post graduate enrollment, the increasingcomplexity of post graduate types, the administrative task is becoming more and moreonerous. Since the function of the current system is relatively simple, the system can notadapt to changes in the actual management. The paper drawn up the development of postgraduate management system for general university from the practical needs of graduatemanagement.The system adopts ASP.Net and B/S structure based on SQL server. The purpose ofthe design is to complete the information management of students’ learning activities inschool and relevant academic information. The management content include studentsbasic information, teachers basic information, performance management information,project management information, course management information，elective managementinformation, teaching quality management information, users and rights managementinformation, instructors selection information etc. According to functionality, system isdivided: teaching quality assessment module, course management module, performancemanagement module, tutor students election module, personal information module, theproject management module, user and rights management module.In teaching quality assessment module, the system establish a reasonable model forassessment of teaching quality by AHP, at the same time, the calculation of the weightvector obtained teacher assessment results. In tutor students election module, students elect the tutor and research direction in the form of volunteer, the tutor choose the studentbased on the choices of student, the system arrives at a final election result by dataprocessing.This article will highlight the system requirements analysis, system overall design,detailed design and implementation.
