Research On The Mobile Operator’s Operation Quality Assessment System

With the rapid development of the mobile communication industry and the market competition, mobile operator constantly devotes its energies to improving the network performance. However, mobile operators are facing a major challenge on finding an efficient way to assess the network performance. Based on the study of the basic network indicators and related quality assessment theories, this paper proposed a network performance assessment system which provides various types of quality assessment tools and analyses the network performance from multiple dimensions.The paper mainly focused on the indicator architecture of the mobile communication network, and putted forward a set of assessment methods for the basic network performance indicators. On the basis of utilizing certain tools as necessary technical support, the paper discussed the major problems need to be solved and proposed proper and practical technical solution, and then designed an assessment system based on B/S network structure.The whole system can be divided into the following functional modules, including basic indicator assessment module, comprehensive quality assessment module, user experience assessment module, indicator threshold calculation and alarm report module and the access control module. This system provided a platform for mobile operator to perceive the quality of the network comprehensively and timely. At the same time, this system contained a flexible access control mechanism to fit the requirement of the mobile operator.Detailed description of the system was provided in the following chapters. This system was built on a three-tier structure to form low coupling system architecture. After the system deployment and testing period in GuiZhou Mobile Communication Corporation, this system was proved to be able to working stably. All the corresponding modules’functions had achieved the original system design objectives.
