On Environmental Emergency Reports At Present In China

Over thirty years, the reports about environmental emergencies have come of age in China. Especially since our country get into a period that emergencies occur frequently in recent years, development has a qualitative leap in the reports about environmental emergencies those play a pivotal role in public opinion guide.This article extracts the reports related in "Southern Weekend "and "China Youth Daily" the representatives in our civil North and South as the research objects, analyze the reports about environmental emergencies since Wenchuan earthquake mainly by using the quantitative and qualitative method combining. The dissertation mainly consists of three parts. The first part takes background review mainly based on the four key years of development in the reports about our civil environmental emergencies since the reform and opening, then takes quantitative analysis of data on the reports of environmental emergencies those including the ones after Wenchuan earthquake reports, summarize the latest developments of current such reports. In the second part, author analyzes the latest features occurred in current reports of environmental emergencies from the requirements, content and process of news dissemination, and analyzes the formative cause of these new features in News communication, sociology and environmental ethics, etc. The final part of the article mainly analyzes the bias understanding about "sustainable development" in current reporting. Meanwhile, according to the new features of present environmental emergencies, the dissertation discusses the imbalance problem between the "natural disaster" reports and "anthropogenic factor disaster" reports and the problems in reporting mode and expression, and then puts forward corresponding solutions. Therefore, the mass media could grasp the direction of improving accurately about such kind of report to play the leading role in public even better.
