This paper is on a research of staring compensation measure to guarantee infrared focal plane array detector could get relative stationary viewing image within integral time while following along with turret. Ensure the detector complete staring integral image and lay the technical foundation of high performance staring FPA detector available to be applied to panoramic early warning system. The paper mainly focus on the research of system overall design and staring compensation control system design.In the terms of overall design, specify the stepping staring compensation thought and compensation mechanism design proposal, build the operating range estimation models. Based on atmospheric parameters, target parameter and detector specification, making argumentation of required detection range to the system optical specification and finish optical design.Regarding the design of staring compensation control system, scanning reflection mirror position control proposal in compensation mechanism is put forward. The capacity transducer is introduced to feedback loop and form to negative feedback. Through photoelectric coupler, make real-time calibration of motor electric and mechanism zero position to guarantee the rotating speed stability of scanning reflection mirror working in compensation cycle. On the basis of this stable speed control proposal, make analysis and select key components, complete network circuit correction, phase-shift circuit and power amplifier circuit design. Meanwhile, using TMS320F240as the core of controller,C2000series DSP optimization C language as main subject, appropriate assembly language to develop control software to carry out the steady speed control to scanning motor.This system has been experienced indoor Minimum Resolvable Temperature Difference (MRTD) and field test. The test result verify that using compensation method mentioned in this paper, the system can get staring image in panoramic searching by FPA detector. There is no obvious smearing in output panoramic images. Also the detection range fits perfectly with anticipated technical requirement.In addition, this paper also makes some explanation on the panoramic image mosaic technology.
