Nowadays,with the development of the technologies of computer science,control and artificial intelligence, the control system for construction machinery andequipment have made great progress.Developing intelligent control system for construction machinery and equipmentwith existing technologies will be a important tendency.In recent years,with the improvement of Chinese urban living standards, theproduction of food waste increased rapidly. The water ratio of the food waste isextremely high; it is easy to rot; so the transportation equipment of the food waste isneeded to transport and dispose every day. As a transportation equipment of the foodwaste, the food waste vehicle play more and more important role. At the same time, ithas to lift the performance requirements are also increasing, such as reliability, easyto operate, low noise, consumption, and so on. It also has developed quickly with theimproving requirement of the People. Using PLC to control the food waste vehicle,the reliability is improved through the reasonable selection and design, so the effectof control is more ideal.Firstly, this paper introduced the development situation of the food waste vehicle,then expatiated PLC importantly and compared the PLC with other control methods.Based on the introduction of food waste vehicle’s basic structure, the implementationproject of food-waste vehicle’s control system based on PLC is studied and proposed.Then this paper analyzes how to use PLC to program controlling process. This articlewas precisely has carried on the design in view of these questions,such as mountingand dismounting,power-matching existing in food-waste vehicle’s control system.For example,when mounting,the control system ensure that the blade back,then themounting hopper open,finally the lift device can lift,which can avoid the incorrectoperation by the worker. When the blade and washing system working, the controlsystem can increase the output power from engine to meet the needs.Design the foodvehicle’s control system for mounting and dismounting food waste using PLC.Preliminary operation for waste food vehicle has completed. All these resultsilluminate that this control system meets the requirement of design.
