The Research And Design Of Flight Information Display System

Travelers throughput and flight sorties are increasing year by year with the rapiddevelopment of science and growth of economy. The airports show bustling scene.The scene brings livingness and benefit to the airport. But it brings tremendouschallenge to service quality of the airports. How to develop and utilize informationresources reasonbly? How to improve service quality of flight information displaycontinuously? How to enhance competition superiority? These are important contentof airports information construction. The flight information display system, for shortFIDS, is an import part of modern airports information construction.The featrue and control technology of display, eXtreme Programming technology, WebServices and PUSH technology are researched in this paper. It studies the method andprocedure of developing flight information display system in complex informationenvironment of airports. Based on information requirement of airports and actualapplication demand of Changsha Huanghua airport, it expands business requirement,function requirement and performance requirement of FIDS. It disserts generalprinciple of system designing and system configuration from sides of cost-effectiveand utility, flexible and efficient, advanced and standard, investment protected, and soon. It exposes the analysis and disignment of every subsystem. These subsystemsinclude users management subsystem, flight information management subsystem,terminals management subsystem, templates management subsystem, daily recordmanagement subsystem and configuration management subsystem. It expands ondatabase prototype and logical configuration design, system frame and functionmodules, function procedure. And it realizes all modules function of the system. Inaddition to, it analyzes and resolves some problems according as applicationenvironment of the system and actual condition. These problems are display terminalscontrol, data flow direction, data authority designing, and so on.At last, it realizes FIDS system function in this paper. The releasing, modifyingand managing of flight information can accomplish perfectly and intelligently in thesystem. And it improves reliability and stability of synchronization refreshing ofextensive diplay devices. It provides some useful ideas and methods for generalizingand applying flight information display system in domestic medium and small airports.It builds up foundation of later projects.
