A Study On The Media Technology Environment Of Health Communication

Health communication is a key issue in communication studies. In the modernsociety, health communication faces two challenges, one is the modern lifestyle changedrapidly and the development of medical technology is also fast, that caused greatconcern of the public health problems in the mass media, the other is the morphologicalchanges of the media environment makes the mode of health communication difficult toadapt to the requirements of the environmental conditions of new media technologies.The complexity of health communication remands multidisciplinary researchperspective in health communication sdudies. This paper established a basic,multi-disciplinary study framework. Rely on the media, environmental analysis discussedthe health communication intrinsic regularity, and the traditional path at the same time,more focus on health communication. Firstly combed the connotation of its course ofdevelopment of health communication, and then discuss the role of media technology onthe social construction of health communication media construct the path. Finally, thepaper discussed the role of government health institutions, mass media and the public inthe new health communication model.Media technology environment as an information carrier is bound to have a criticalimpact on health communication activities carried out in-depth research and discussion isparticularly important from the perspective of the media technologies, environmentalresearch, health communication.
