| Today，the live TV technology is changing from analog to digit in the world. Digitalsatellite communications provide a good transmitting flat for diagital transmission of the live TVbecause of its excellent signal quality，wide coverage and lower cost．Digital satellite broadcasting has been a main way to cover the whole country. Digitalsatellite TV have become an important signal source of CATV in China. The main task of thispaper is to design a digital satellite transmitting flat for the sports game relay and sending news..First，the development and current state of satellite broadcasting in China is summarized inthis paper. The key technology and the standards of the digital satellite transmitting system isdetail introduced. On the basis of the satellite transmitting facilities，the design project of digitalsatellite transmitting system is proposed by calculation and comparison. At last, the selection andconnection of equipments, system debugging and the testing result of the system are presented.The present and future of the digital satellite live TV in China is thought described in thethesis. The project is advanced and reasonable, and the selection of the equipments is alsouniversal and reliable.
