Ptn Technology And Its Application In The Metropolitan Area Transport Network In The Mobile Network Research

Accompanying with the beginng of carriers’full services, large-scale construction of3G networks and the rapid growth of VPN service requirement from business customers, service develops quickly to all IP. In this context, the application range of TDM is gradually reduced, and data service is becoming the main body of the network. This change requires more and more high to the bandwidth, scheduling, flexibility, cost and quality of transport network. SDH/MSTP network with TDM kernel is increasingly incapable of network development. PTN technology with packet kernel can uniform bearing multi-service’s. With several years of rapid development, PTN constantly improves, and highlights technical advantage. It has won the approval of the carriers. Especially China Mobile has been massive collection of PTN equipment, what is promoting the network change. As a new technology, we will face many problems of networking applications in construction process. This paper mainly focuses on the research of key contents what are involved in PTN networking applications of Metropolitan Transport Network.In this paper, the principle of packet transport network and its key technology are analyzed. OAM technology and protection scheme which greatly influence network are especially researched. Then they are tested and analyzed using PTN devices. Based on the pseudo wire protection mode, the paper puts forward a new scene of service application and engineering testing scheme. On the basis of these, this paper introduces the PTN network strategy, which contains the planning and design of network structure and service bearing in different situation. And it discusses the PTN application in network evolution process. Finally, combined with the case of the planning and application of C mobile company’s PTN network, this paper gives detailed and specific content, method and suggestion in planning. That will give some help for local network’s construction in the next stage and is a certain reference to other city’s network planning.
