Network Lcd Development Projects In The Application Of Six Sigma Design Method

This paper mainly select the Network type LCD monitor as the research object, basing on project management theory, and making use of DFSS(Design For Six Sigma)method into the whole development project from concept planning stage to project verify stage, which improve the development process efficiency,meanwhile ensure the development quality.Basing on normal monitor, Network type monitor is one kind of smart solution, which cans common use one PC server via built-in PCI card and desktop virtual software. The whole design process introduces the organization with project type, and finish the design job according to start, planning, execute and control, verify process. In the process of the project, make using the QFD(Quality Function Deployment)1st step to convert the customer’s requirement into technical character, and then use QFD2nd step to convert the technical character into component character,which achieve the customer-oriented design idea. The paper also uses FMEA (Failure Mode Effective Analysis) to prevent the potential risk in early development stage. In the project execute stage, choose the key parameter and make use of DOE tool to find the most optimized proposal, which improve the development efficiency. In project verify stage, make the quality verify and monitoring before mass production via pre-product in small lot. Meanwhile, make use of the control chart to manage the mass production’s quality continuously. The last, the paper summary the shortage of this project and make the plan about how to improve in future.The core idea of six sigma is to meet the customer’s requirement.
