Design Of Automatic Test System Of T/R Module Based On LabVIEW

T/R module is the most important part of the phased array radar and its performances have direct influence on the accuracy and stability of the radar. Therefore, it needs to perform a particular measurement on the T/R module. It will be a huge and complex testing task for the phased array radar that contains thousands of T/R modules, which leads to the necessity of the research on automatic test system. The development of the virtual instrument technology makes it convenient to design an automatic test system that has marvelous performances. In contrast to the traditional text programming languages, the graphical languages, such as LabVIEW, have great advantages on the development of automatic test system.In this paper, the virtual instrument technology is used to develop automatic test system.The hardware architecture and the software system of a LabVIEW based automatic test system is introduced. In the front part of this paper, the related basic knowledge of microwave and its test is introduced as well as the main parameters of a T/R module. And the testing results and analysis are displayed at the end of this paper.
