In recent years,the RF(Radio Frequency,hereinafter referred to as RF)technology widely?sed in wireless communication technology,Such as RFID,iBeacon indoor positioning,internet applications have achieved amazing development.Meanwhile,its product performance and reliability requirements are more demanding.In this way,but also to the manufacturer of RF chips and RF product design engineers,test engineers bring new challenges and problems.Combination of the above characteristics of the market and the company's RF module products,this paper designed a RF module automatic testing system based on LabVIEW platform.The automatic test system consists of upper and lower machines,testing equipment,and test fixture.Test PC via GPIB bus connected to measuring equipment(Spectrum Analyzer,signal generator,etc),and DB9 serial cable connected to lower machines,realize RF test execution,data collection,data storage,error analysis and other tasks.This system greatly improves production efficiency and reduced probability of human misjudgment.At the same time,provides an effective way to the later data tracks.Main content of this study consists of two parts:PC software design based on Lab VIEW,its main function is to realize the communication with the test equipment,controlling of test process,and Access database applications;the lower machines design based on MSP430 MCU,its main function is to realize working states switch,current read and upload,LCD display.Finally,the paper made the overall debugging of hardware and software on the entire test system,the feasibility and reliability of the RF test system is determined through practical testing.In the future,we can replace the traditional manual operation in factory production process.This made a definite contribution for the realization of the automated test mode.
