The Sixteenth Asian Games held in Guangzhou. Guangzhou Broadcast Network(GZBN)as the official TV station of host city, will coverage and broadcast the ceremony and allcompetitions of Guangzhou Asian Games. The TV Edit and Broadcast System services inGuangzhou Asian Games. The system is used to collect, schedule and distribute the televisionsignal, is used to clip, edit and broadcast the programs, and is used to catalog, store and sharemedia content. After The Sixteenth Guangzhou Asian Games,the new system will replace theold production system.With the development of information technology, the coming of HD and digital TV era,the radio and TV industry is facing new opportunities and challenges. With theever-increasing demands from the audience, the size of the TV program production isincreasing, and the quality is becoming higher. The traditional mode of production cannotmeet demand. When State Administration of Radio Film and Television (SARFT) released theWhite Paper on television digitized network construction, most of the Radio and TV mediainvest a lot of resources to upgrade their technology systems for resource sharing and processoptimization.The TV edit and broadcast system is based on a service-oriented architecture (SOA),building an integrated architecture use the dual bus of enterprise service bus (ESB) andbusiness media bus (EMB). The system use ESB handle metadata and control information,EMB processing digital media files. System integrated use of HD technology, Web Servicestechnology, Storage Area Network (SAN) and database technology, in order to establish anetwork platform for content production and distribution. The system through the integrationof resources to enhance media content production efficiency and the potential value.
