General-purpose interface bus (GPIB) has been broadly used in constructing automated test system. It integrates virtual instrument technology, computer technology and the powerful testing apparatus. GPIB has the adavantages of high speed and high precision testing, good expandability. In this paper, the methods of constructing the special used automated test system are studied. Based on GPIB bus, an automated radar receiver calibration test system is realized. In order to ensure the expandability and maintainability, virtual classes are designed for the testing instruments in software. The synchronization of the software and testing instuments is realized through the adoption of querying method. Data processing and data access technologies are studied in this paper, too. Using these technologies, various testing scripts are analyzed and the testing data is deposited efficiently. Furthermore, a user-friendly graphical interface is provided for operation of the testing system. This paper finishes the system designing and debugging. Several experiments are done to testing the system performance. Results are given in this paper, which indicates that the design is reasonable and effective. |
