The modern sense of the electronic computer was produced in1946, initiallystarted in the field of scientific computing. With the further development of computerapplications, the focus of computer applications in the1950s gradually shifted to thenon-numerical computing, a major branch of computer applications is in the field ofmanagement. Today, management science and computer science has been completelytogether, their mutual penetration and mutual influence has never ceased, and intensified.The importance of database technology and network technology are as therepresentative of IT (the Information Technology, IT) in the management isstrengthening. At the same time, the new term, new technologies, new ideas continue toproduce, so dizzying.In order to coordinate handling, integrate and make full use of all kinds ofinformation, which requires combining a variety of relevant information together withthe computer networks. Through comprehensive analysis, processing and application,then it establishes a management information system. At the same time, as a part of thecomputer applications, computer software management of school laboratory equipment,with the incomparable advantages of the manual administration. For example: theretrieval speed, find more convenient, high reliability, memory capacity, security, longlife and low cost. These advantages can greatly improve the efficiency of the devicemanagement to meet the basic needs of daily work, and the intuitive operation,convenient, practical, safe, and other related requirements, but also an importantcondition for the standardized management and integration with the world.The paper is based on the laboratory equipment management system projectdevelopment of research background. Through study on the current situation at homeand abroad, analyze user’s needs, combined with the existing information technology.We use the thought of software engineering to design and realize laboratory equipmentmanagement the system. In addition, the system provides users with adequateinformation and efficient query methods. It overcomes the various shortcomings in thetraditional manual methods of management. For the laboratory manager, it has been more effective management of laboratory equipment.The system is developed with VS2010, SQL Server2005and Dreamweaver CS4development tools, the system uses the B/S architecture, all modules are developedusing ASP.NET technology and advanced database connectivity technologies. First, thepaper analyzes the development objectives of the system and user needs, and then givesthe overall system design, last gives the implement of the system.
