This subject aims to use the popular embedded technology, design a simple andpractical, suitable for small hydropower station monitoring system to reduce itscomplexity, while retaining full functionality.System in the overall structure of this paper, through to the generator output signal,after digital-analog conversion, the electrical signal into a digital signal, and then dealwith its various operations, at the same time, through the turbine speed sensor andmeasuring voltage frequency of the engine, the measured data are compared with thesystem configuration, real-time monitoring of their critical data changes, and throughthe PID control, excitation current control to further control the generator terminalvoltage and reactive power and active power. Unit during the switch process, the use ofthe master side of the generator and system voltage control the phase angle difference,according to the conditions of the different changes over the same period, to thegovernor with both frequency pulses are coupled to the excitation device pressure pulse,making the generator to achieve grid operation.This paper analyzes the monitoring requirements of small hydropower stationsbased on the S3C2410microprocessor through a combination of features, design anddevelopment of the various components of hardware system circuit, including the serialdesign, IIC bus design, clock design, A/D converter design, touch screen design andEthernet communication design.Based on the control of small hydro requirements of each module, combined withhardware devices designed to use Linux hardware drivers. Program development in thefunctional module, and with a simple way to achieve control of the system requirements,software architecture integrates a magnetic force, over the same period, the governor,the main function of the master, and a data acquisition and analysis, plant control andother functions, using a touch-screen As human-computer interaction interface.In this paper, the development of the system reliability design, hardware system, byselecting high-quality equipment, isolation technology, the absorption circuit, usingcurrent loop input, it is important to shield cables and transmission lines lightning protection measures taken to improve reliability, etc.; configuration software used in theform of software vendors, fault-tolerant design, software filtering, logic blocking,blocking limits, priority setting, the device automatically detects the operating state,data protection processes, cyclic redundancy check, etc. to improve reliability.
