The Design And Implementation Of The Steel Logistics Enterprise Sales System Based On OLAP

Steel logistics industry which is developed with the steel manufacturing is China’s traditional distribution industry. Recently, steel logistics industry was affected by the decline in steel manufacturing, the homogenization and simplification between the steel logistics enterprises is becoming more and more serious. The traditional sales model of steel logistics enterprises have been unable to meet the demand for enterprise development. The task of how to support decision for enterprises accordding to the huge sales data will become urgent and complicated.This thesis proposes the solution of steel logistics sales system based on the data warehouse and OLAP(On-Line Analytical Processing) technology theory, and it is according to the actual needs and existing conditions. The enterprise sales data warehouse with three core business processes has been established from the original enterprise storage. The dissertation achieved the process which the data has been extracting, cleaning and loading from the data source to the data warehouse, and detaily designed the theme, including the design of the dimension tables and fact tables, multidimensional analysis model and multi-dimensional data cube generation.The completed work of the dissertation are mainly shown as follows:Firstly, comined the needs of the steel logistics enterprise,Steel logistics sales system based on OLAP is proposed. The whole system architecture and functional modules process has been designed through the analysis of building goal and principles of the system.Secondly, try to introduce information technology into the traditional steel logistics industry. Abandon the traditional development model of the warehouse. Actively extension of the sales to the upstream and downstream industry, A new e-business platform will been created based on OLAP-based sales system. The dissertation achieves the effectively attempt for breaking the bottleneck of the steel logistics enterprises development.Thirdly, the dissertation achieves the based-B/S steel logistics sales system according to ASP.NET and C#efficiently development model, pepole can browse the visualization of OLAP cube browser through the visualization system components and MDX multidimensional query language.
