The core objective of the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) is to solve thecontradictory relationship between roads, pedestrian and vehicle in the process oftransportation. The intelligent information and communication technology is used forthe Real-time and efficient collection and processing of traffic data for moreharmonization between the three. Thus, a set of comprehensive, multidimensional,precise control of the traffic management system is built. The utilization of variousmature or state-of-the-art information technology will greatly improve the vehicle safetyand operating efficiency in the traffic, and reduce harm to the environment significantly.Urban Intelligent Traffic Management System is a division of ITS system fortraffic command, management, scheduling, emergency in the city. It implements thecomprehensive monitoring of urban transport administration, stations, vehicles, driveroperation predictable and rational management of transport resources, optimization oftraffic management systems through a variety of auxiliary equipment.First of all, the development and research has been analyzed on ITS of domesticand international in the thesis, and discussed the problems faced by China’s ITS system.Then, the construction scheme of urban intelligent traffic management system has beenproposed to be based on the Baoding’s traffic situation and level of intelligent traffic.This article discussed in-depth on systems analysis stage, overall systems designstage,detailed design and implementation stage. The requirements of the systemconstruction are described on the goal of building, business requirements, functionaland non-functional requirements in the systems analysis stage. The system is built onthe architecture design, the system development and runtime environment, and thedatabase design in the overall systems design stage. The MVC three-tier architecturedesign, detailed design and realization of the module function, problems encounteredand solutions, project cutover are important at later of the project in the detailed designand implementation stage. Finally, The design and implementation of the program aresummarized and looked into the future.In this thesis, a set of plan and Implementation for Baoding traffic has been built to combine the example of the advanced intelligent transportation with intelligent trafficmanagement system of Baoding as the object of the research. It has great practicalsignificance and some reference value for easing traffic pressure and buildingharmonious traffic in large and medium-sized cities.
