Therefore, it makes great significance for to develop a virtual teachingplatform by using modern web tools.The virtual teaching system is based on Web which uses Visual Studio.net2005asthe development platform, C#as the major development language, Microsoft SQLServer2000as the database and uses the most popular MVC three-stage architecture. Itindicates some features of advancement on the integrity of technology and process. Thevirtual courses teaching platform based on B/S structure, it is a campus online studyingplatform. It provides students a nice online studying platform by supplying onlinevideos、online course wares、online intercommunication、online experimentations andall kinds of teaching resources and so on. The online experiment (online compiler)module was that the compiler used the server-side interface of the experimental simpleWeb browser-based compiler to run the program functions, compiled the running resultsback to show on the browser without installing the compiler program by the users.Whiteboard functionality of the system not only can facilitate student exchange, theycan also increase the interest in the teaching process, to achieve the effect of improvingteaching effectiveness. The system uses virtual reality technology to build virtualclassrooms and virtual laboratories, in the form of expression has been greatly improvedrelative to traditional online teaching system, a virtual teaching system to give the user amore realistic visual experience. The main content is as follows:Firstly,It studied ASP.NET and ADO.NET which were the key NET Framework components for construct virtual teaching system; meanwhile it studied the browse ofonline courseware and electronic whiteboard principle, and mainly study on the use ofthe AJAX framework Anthem.net.Secondly, It studied the overall functional structure ofthe virtual teaching system and analyzed the system user and the user’s workflow; itresearched the feasibility of online examination system based on Web form the technicaland economic aspects. Thirdly,It analyzed the design goal and design ideas of the virtualteaching system based on Web, described the system’s basic architecture, illustrated alllayer’s function in the architecture and analyzed the key module in the system; Itstudied the online experiment module and the design of the virtual learning scenarios.Lastly,It studied the key technologies to realize the online courseware, electronicwhiteboards, and online experiments.
