With the swift development of the computer technology and multimedia technology, the virtual simulation experiment technology rises rapidly as one kind of emerging technology. The virtual simulation experiment on electronic is which the students learn analogy circuit, digital circuit and microcomputer application system by the computer simulation technology, and carry on the circuit design, the simulation, the debugging and so on the experiment which usually completes in the laboratory. A computer, a set of electronic simulation software, adding on an experiment course, may be equal to a laboratory with advanced equipment. The virtual laboratory essence is substituting virtual with reality and substituting software with hardware.Experiment is the essential part in the electronic curriculum teaching. For many years, the traditional experimental technique played the influential role in the elementary theory, the elementary knowledge, the basic skill for the student, training the student to analyze the question and to solve the question. As a result of the swift development of science and technology, the society has strict request to talented person, who not only need have the rich knowledge, but also must have excellent knowledge utilization ability and innovation ability, then can meet the new situation. As a essential beneficial supplement to traditional experiment, the virtual simulation technique applies in the experiment teaching, which can save the massive educational expenditure and cause the experiment to obtain effective extending in the time and the space. It's very important in training student's innovative ability.Education reform deepening unceasingly set a higher request on experiment teaching to raise the student's scientific research ability and overall quality. The experiment teaching's course content, the educational model, the teaching method urgently need to innovate and improve. The mature and development of virtual experiment technology and the urgent need of experiment educational reform cause the virtual experiment to move toward the practical application in the teaching application from the fundamental research.The thesis is divided into five chapters. The chapter one is the introduction , which has summarized the experiment teaching important meaning, experiment teaching present situation and questions, the appearance and development of virtual simulation experiment technology, the reform necessity of experiment teaching. In the theory and the technical level, the experiment teaching reform set the request to the virtual simulation experiment. The second chapter describes the virtual simulation experiment. Including virtual simulation experiment's related concepts, the simulation, the virtual reality, the virtual simulation and the difference and the relation among the three, the composition of virtual simulation system, the virtual experiment's development has experienced the computer simulation stage and the virtual reality stage, the characteristic of virtual experiment and virtual experiment teaching process model; the theoretical foundation which the virtual experiment is used by the experiment teaching is constructivism and transformation of indirect experience's; The virtual simulation experiment has many applications in the scientific research, the virtual simulation campus, the education entertainment website, especially application present situation of experiment teaching.The third chapter chooses PROTEUS as the typical representative of virtual simulation software. It introduces the architecture of PROTEUS, development environment PROTEUS VSM and its core PROSPICE which has the rich resources and a series of merits suitable to the experiment teaching, also PROTEUS can use with KEIL to simulate in the software and hardware of MCU system.The fourth chapter is the most important one of the thesis. Chapter four uses PROTEUS to design the example of analogy circuit, digital circuit and microcomputer. Comparing with the traditional experiment PROTEUS,the outstanding virtual simulation software has the positive significance in the electronic experiment teaching, so it should obtain the promotion vigorously.The fifth chapter summarizes the main task of this thesis, pointed out the paper salient point and the deficiency,then forecast the direction which I will work towards in the future. The prime task of the thesis is discussing the virtual experiment teaching theoretical foundation, finding the theory basis of educational technique's new education method using in experiment teaching. The direct-viewing example design reflect the superiority of PROTEUS in the electronic experiment teaching. It can reduce the experiment cost, speed up equipment's refresh rate, provide the technical support for raising student's innovative spirit.
