With the development of the times, people are facing more and more complex mediaenvironment. People live in the environment constructed by the media all the time. The mediais gradually influences people’s life and thought. College students are the new technology,new ideas in the forefront of groups, is the main force in the future to participate ininternational competition. The media has become the life of university students" Essentials",affect their cognition and idea. Therefore, in complex media environment, improve collegestudents’ media literacy is necessary and very important. In foreign countries, media literacyeducation has for a long time. At present, many countries set up media literacy curriculum asa required course in the primary school, high school and University. However, media literacyeducation curriculum practice progress is relatively slow, lack research, lack systematic set upthis course. So, Northeast Normal University opened "media literacy education" course,conducting media literacy education teaching practice, which is to improve the collegestudents media literacy has a positive role.In our studies, we uses action research as the main research method, recording theNortheast Normal University to teach media literacy curriculum development process andteaching process. Through to the student and teacher interview, the questionnaire andexamination paper based on the analysis of the Northeast Normal University, spring semester"media literacy education" course for a whole analysis. Through the course study and practice,we summed up the course content and teaching method in the setting of curriculumimplementation and the advantages, shortcomings in the reflection, put forward suggestionsfor further perfection. I hope this research can promote or promoting media literacycurriculum to follow and related research, and constantly improve the course content, toimprove college students’ media literacy.
