During the last20years, with the development of information technology and computer technology, digital resource construction is developing rapidly in libraries, digital resources in the libraries become more and more important.The library has changed the original mode of information dissemination, there will be more digital resources transfered to thousands of readers through the network, which satisfies the readers.But nearl all of the digital resources distributed in geographically different locations with different resource suppliers, this is what is called the distribution and heterogeneity of digital resource, caused much inconvenience to the readers.Readers need to access to different resource systems, adapt to the corresponding pages, and to learn how to gain what they needed.Therefore, to integrating the existing resources, establing a library work platform with unified retrieval, easy-to-use, powerful cross database retrieval service for the readers is the urgent need to study and solve problems.This paper mainly studies how to make Shandong Library existing databases, such as electronic books like Founder Apabi online library, electronic journals like VIP and Wanfang database, video resources like Chaoxing great teacher forum, image resources like TEDA Diandian comic database, to achieve the unity of cross database search, users can get more detailed data.This paper discusses the necessity of digital resources integration, the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional way of integration..The system involves the related concept and the SOA mode, text retrieval, user single sign-on, digital resource directory and other techniques were studied.Using the above theory and technology, constructs the platform model and system model of Shandong Provincial Library cross database retrieval service, related interface and applications.Analyses and explains that the system must support retrieval, browsing, hyperlinks and system maintenance.System is built base on database managed by active pages and B/S/S application structure.Introduces this structure in detail, then designs the functional diagram.Establishes five modules of cross database retrieval service platform, namely platform single sign-on module, operation module, display page full text retrieval module, the collection module and the source database module.By using the above technique, constructs and tests the Shandong Provincial Library cross database retrieval service platform, and finally the the system achieves in software.
