The Research On Planar Integrated Magnetic Of Multi-phase Interleaved Voltage Regulator Module

This article study the coupling inductance structures from different angle, proposethe coupled inductance structures with different characteristics, suitable for differentapplications, but having many advantages compared with existing coupled inductancestructure. They satisfy the voltage regulator module of the requirements to multi-phasecoupled inductance.First, taking3-phase coupled inductance as an example, analyze the multi-phasecoupled inductance’ equivalent inductances. Meanwhile, analyze the effect of couplingdegree and asymmetry of the coupled inductance to equivalent inductances, thenindicates that coupling degree and symmetry on the importance to voltage regulatormodule.Moreover, according to the variable inductance coupling degree as the researchtarget of the coupled inductance of structure, the air gap variable coupling of thecoupled inductance of structure are put forward. Analyzing its principle of the variableinductance coupling, through the finite element simulation and prototype experimentaldemonstrate the validity of the theoretical analysis and the feasibility of the proposestructure.Finally, in order to realize the multiphase-coupled inductance of the symmetry, putforward the4-phase without DC partial magnetic of the coupled inductance structureand3-phase "UT" form coupled inductance structure. At the same time, analyzing thesymmetry scheme of3-phase "EI" form the asymmetry coupled inductance, through thesimulation and experiment results show the propose coupled inductance structure andthe effectiveness of the propose symmetry scheme.
