With the development and generalization of Internet technology and mobile communication,3G and WIFI make it possible to link the wireless network to the Internet. The mobile users can enjoy the services Internet provides. It brings the great convenience and leads to enormous changes for people’life. Traditional logistics industry is mainly done by manual and it is based on paper documents, leading to low work efficiency and high labor costs. These are not good for the rapid development of enterprises and we need to solve these problems urgently. Facing these challenges, the mobile network of logistics operations has become an irresistible trend and direction. The logistics business mobile terminal takes the actual business needs as the starting point, makes the business operation to be information technology, thus logistics is faster. It is easier to control and reduce the labor cost in this way, improving work efficiency.In this paper, we list the background, purpose and significance of the Android based handheld terminal logistics business system, clarify design goal of the system. We analyze the needs based on the idea of object-oriented and functional and non-functional requirements of the system using the UML technology, software modeling tool MagicDraw describes system activity diagrams and case diagrams, and shows case specification; then the overall system architecture design and function design, including the waybill management, system management, trouble ticket management and the delivery manage these functional modules. Software modeling tools provides design package diagrarn, class diagram, sequence diagram and detailed description; then shows the E-R diagram of the database design and database table structure. Summary is given in the study and prospects.
