With the flourishing development of China’s vocational education, the construction and development of Jiangxi journalism and publication college has been in a critical time, much importance has been attached to the reform of college’s internal administrative management mechanism and the improvement of its work efficiency. Establishing a secure, efficient office automation system of administrative management is also a consistent with vocational education college features management reform and innovation.This paper on the full analysis of necessity and the actual work demand of the office automation system of Jiangxi journalism and publication college (hereinafter referred to as the college OA office system), put forward objective and principles of building it. This paper formed on the basis of service-oriented applications (SOA) design concept, designed the OA system with J2EE framework and B/S structure, thus designed college OA office system module, effective integrate the routine office work, departmental management and college-enterprise resources management of college, and formed an office automation solution of public documents, conference, services, administration, teaching sector, public services, college-enterprise cooperation resources. In conclusion, the thesis makes a summary of the present research and looks into its future development.
