We have reached the new era in 21 century, information technology is increased by leaps and bounds,the increasing influence of information technology has been impacted in the political,economic,culture,military and other aspects.information has played important role to promote the development of human beings,the internet has infiltrated every corner of human’s life.At the same time,the development of informatization of the society has brought unprecedented opportunities and challenges to the enterprise management.In order to increase efficiency, improve corporate culture, Office Automation System is also increasingly being used in business management as an important part of corporate propaganda and internal management.Office Automation System is a new way to work,which combines modern office concepts and computer, making full use of computer technology, to which we are able to use and process information,thus saving time increasing work efficiency during the processing business.Office Automation System started late relatively, almost from the mid-1980 s, because the whole of people were educated less and computer literacy was not comprehensive, resulting in relatively slow pace of development at that time. But with time going by, the Office Automation System in the enterprises and institutions of our country has been very popular; Office Management System developed in the West,earlier started in the mid-60 s of the last century, and in the early nineties, Office Automation System was widely used in the United States and European countries.This topic based on B / S architecture and Java platforms, using distributed database storage method,designing,developing and researching the Office Automation System, which describes the developing and using processes of the Office Automation System in details,to finalize a shared and strong,easy to use and maintain,efficient Office Automation System.This paper will be divided into seven chapters to introduce the Office Automation System in details and comprehensively: The first chapter introduces the background source and the research of subject; the second chapter introduces the research status of Office Automation System at home and abroad, and the key technology during designing and developing; the third chapter is demand analysis and overall design; the forth chapter focuses on a detailed system design in the features; the fifth chapter displays and explains the pages of the system; the sixth chapter tests the platform and evaluate the given results; the seventh chapter summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of this system, and summarizes the work done by the author in the paper.
