Design And Implementation Of Embedded Entrance Guard System

With the development of economic and the improvement of living standard, the demands of security is growing quickly. Now, the security system has been widely used in modern office building, bank, machine room, intelligent community and so on. Therefore, the embedded entrance guard system which plays an important role in security system also gets more and more attention。The thesis designed and implemented an embedded entrance guard system which was based on image recognition, mainly targeting at end-users, small and medium enterprises. In hardware terms, LED-Board and Main-Board were well realized. The function of the LED-Board was to transmit the video image data of visible light and infrared ray. It has the selection and configuration of image sensor, the design of LED drive control circuit and contains the calculation of LED’s angle and position relatived to the sensor in detail. Meanwhile, the Main-Board was mainly used to collect the video data and implement a series of system functions. In other words, it is realized to choose the CPU processor, contruct the video image capture system and structure the external circuit with the core of CPU. In software terms, the program based on Verilog was design to implement the selection of frames. At the same time, the system software based on the platform of OMAP3530was realized to finish the communication among processes, deal with the image data, build the cross-compiler environment, distribute system physical memory and so on。The result of testing showed that the system had a certain degree of scalability and met the requirements of real-time, generality, low-power and miniaturization. In a word, the system has a high application value.
