TheμC/OS-II is a kind of multi-tasks real-time operating system that can be transplanted, and solidifiable and tailorable. Because its source codes are open, have detailed annotations, and its kernel design concept is very clear,μC/OS-II has been becoming a widely used embedded operating system. The 80x86 system get extensive applications and supports in realm of the embedded systems. compared with other embedded environments, such as valuation bord, emulator, etc..The 80x86 system, being used as target system, testing code is more easily, need not to write EPROM constantly, download programs to EPROM ,and emulator constantly, the users only need to compile,link,run the codes.This paper introduced the design and the realization of the IC card control at gate system, participated by the author.The system is a kind of application of the embedded system, the system adopts a 80x86 chip, use theμC/OS-II as its operate system. For this purpose, the author completed the customize and optimization work of theμC/OS-II on the 80x86 first. Based on this work, the design and development of related hardware and application software was carried out by the author, including: the main control module in the 80x86, card insertion event processing and communication event processing. At the same time, the author also designed and developed some management softwares of the IC card entrance guard system.Through testing, the system has good performance, and has achieved the anticipated design target.
