Research Of Digital Integrated Circuit Design

It is easy for digital circuit to deal with logic which is large and complex, digitallogic plays an important role in ASIC. Many times, digital system’s performancedetermines the whole performance of the chip.Based on the project:“theoretical research on the key technique and the design fora mixed signal ASIC of light sensor”, it is intended to explore the whole process of thedigital circuit design. During the project, combined with the specific design, deepunderstanding of digital circuit design in all aspects is gained.In this paper, a brief introduction of the digital circuit design is taken, and then,combined with the project, detailed description about pre-design and post-design isgiven, in the processing of RTL design, compile, P&R (Place and Route), and STA(Static Timing Analysis), methods of resolving problems and verification in all aspectsare shown. Final result’s simulation shows the design meets the demands.Finally, the concept of asynchronous design is introduced, as it is likely to becomethe development trend of digital circuit design.
