With the rapid development of radio communication electronic and computer technology, the new equipment in radio widely used in all sections of society. Administrative testing task about radio equipment is growing faster and faster, The traditional manual testing method has been unable to meet the demands of the new situation, It is an urgent issue that the Automation technology applies in the measurement field of radio equipment. In the situation, The Radio equipment automatic test system is developed and produced, this kind system can control more than one testing instrument,it can reduce and eliminate artificial measurement and reading error., With the system in radio equipment laboratory, The testing processes become more efficient,simple and flexible.This paper adopts the research method of from the whole to part,from general to specific.Firstly,summarize the domestic and international research and enabling progress in measurement uncertainty.Then start from the basic theory,give a brief introduction to the basic concepts of uncertainty,methods of evaluation processes,and Radio equipment automatic test system’s basic structure and principles,build the theoretical foundation for the follow-up research and analysis. Thirdly,in accordance with the a forementioned theory,the article will give the uncertainty mathematical models and approach of the Radio equipment automatic test system.Various impact factors can be identified accuratedly,comprehensively by using these models. Subsequently,choose the400MHz FM Radio transceiver for instance,computing uncertainty about eight kinds index, giving uncertainty report,.at last the article will give some effective proposals to reduce the uncertainty of the System.
