Because the number of applications of multimedia, IPV6and high-definition video has been explosively increased on a variety of mobile terminals, all of these are achieved through high-speed data transmission, which resulting in great increase of user demands of high-quality wireless communication services, wireless communication has entered the era of high-speed data transmission. The technology of radio over fiber (RoF) combined optical communication and wireless communication has emerged, which takes advantages of optical fiber characteristics of low-loss, wide bandwidth and prevention of electromagnetic interference to carry out wide bandwidth and high-speed transmission. Due to these benefits, RoF technology has broad prospects in the field of wireless broadband communications, satellite communications and intelligent transportation systems in the future. This dissertation concentrates on the research of radio frequency (RF) transceiver module circuit of2.3-2.4GHz formulated by International Mobile Telecommunications-Advanced. Main achievements are as follows:1. Designed a transceiver module circuit based on2.3-2.4GHz RF chip, which has excellent performance with100MHz bandwidth and consumed5V voltage and220mA electric current.2. Constructed a complete RoF system with baseband module, optical module and antenna module, which realized high-speed data transmission with100MHz bandwidth and within4.5meters.
