Uncertainty Analysis And Application Study Of Measurement Of Radio Detection

Application of uncertainty has up to ten years for the traditional and existing metering industry. While radio measurement uncertainty in our country, especially the radio testing laboratory, was still a relatively new concept. Uncertainty of measurement not only can measure the measurement accuracy, characterized the value of the dispersion, but also can estimate and deduce the true value, reflected the probability distribution of measured value and measuring value relevance. In order to provide measurement results consistent with the international standard when issuing the certificate of the radio testing, calibration certificates, test reports and other documents, the measurement uncertainty must be evaluated correctly. Therefore,uncertainty in the radio measurement should be an indispensable technical parameters, this job will also very important.In this paper, we present general measurement uncertainty concept and the general method of uncertainty assessment. For the uncertainty assessment work in the majority of the radio testing laboratories is still in the initial stage, based on the understanding of the ETSI(European Telecommunications Standards Institute)"ETSI TR100028" technical report, the uncertainty assessment methods on the test of transmission equipment were systematic studied and analyzed. Three types of sources of uncertainty in radio testing are concluded up. The mismatch measurement uncertainty in radio testing and in measurement of transmission path insertion attenuation are comprehensively analyzed and calculated. Then, a detail example of evaluation measurement uncertainty of radio carrier frequency, power, spurious emissions of the FM wireless intercom is given, summed up the basic method for radio evaluation of measurement uncertainty. And promote this method to each of the indicators in the radio transmitting equipment measuring uncertainty for each assessment, then given including the uncertainty of measurement parameters of measurement results. Finally, the measurement uncertainty of the assessment work is discussed and summarized, points out that the evaluation of uncertainty of measurement is a complicated and delicate work, need to understand the new requirements and new methods, evaluation methods for timely update.
