Design And Implementation Of City Highway Administration Office Automation System

With the development of the network, office automation systems (OA) attract much more attention. OA systems help reduce labor resources and administration cost, as well as improve operation efficiency largely. Road regulation authority, as a government organization, has various departments with complicated staff relationship. Each department in the organization deploy their own system to handle this business, those systems with different standards can’t be interact with each other. They are fragmented, difficult to integrate on a unified platform. Thus different departments can’t share their information, which make the administration documents processing very slowly. In this case information islands easily form with limit of time, areas and departments, making it difficult to achieve high efficiency of departments’ collaboration.This paper focuses on the road industry management system and characters, based on the understanding of a road organization structure and daily management process, this paper give an overall design for the road administration office automation system and develop some function modules of the system. The system realize the documents processing among aimed persons, covering the whole process from generating, distributing, publishing, tracking, storage etc., making the office management implementation efficiently and smoothly. Through those system functions, the document can be processing smoothly, efficiently and comprehensively, thus achieve the goal of improving management level and efficiency.
