E-mail Drive Business Process Management System Research

As the information department of foreign insurance organization in China branch, it has to face the tough situation that how to develop a business process management system to meet government regulatory requirements, security standards, and also meet the business needs to make interface with existing system. As can be seen, it’s very valuable and significant to make a research on message-driven business process management system, especially in the occasion of the rapid development of foreign insurance companies in local market and more demanding policies of China Insurance Regulatory Commission.This paper is based on the latest project of Zurich Insurance Company, which focused on how to develop message-driven business process management system based on Louts Notes. Initially, the overall concept of popular platform and system had been introduced, and in this part, Lotus Notes and security efficiency are the key points. Secondly, this thesis discussed how to use Notes features to meet three core requirements including message-driven, mobile office and application security in detail. Moreover, this paper also mentioned some solutions to tough situations in the process of system developing. As always, the final part is the summary and prospect for the business process management system.
