The study of cabin automatic arrangement and the accessibility of reconstructed ship is little in domestic these days. This condition limits the efficiency and the quality of designing reconstructed ship, and affects the development of ship conversion design technology. This dissertation is based on the research achievement of cabin arrangement and space accessibility in domestic and overseas, combined with modern computerized design technology, conducting the method study of cabin intelligent arrangement and boarding process simulation. Finally, the cabin intelligent arrangement system and personnel boarding system are developed. Therefore, certain reference value is provided for ship conversion design.1. Researching and analysing CATIA modeling technology, the secondary development technology for CATIA and programming technology for VB.NET. Including some main modules of CATIA such as Part Design, Generative Shape Design, Assembly Design, Structure Functional Design and so on. And also researching the secondary development methods, automation programming technology and the programming means and new function ofVB.NET.2. Analysing the automatic building method of the hull model, and then the application program of hull building is developed. And also the cabin intelligent arrangement system is developed based on the study of expert system of cabin arrangement combined with the parameterized building of device library.3. On the basis of the study of advanced theoretical model of personnel movement and the modeling approach in space, including macroscopic model, microscopic model and mesoscopic model, the boarding model of sub-space unit network which is based on cellular automaton is proposed. In the model, ship space is divided into many different sub-units. In these sub-units, the cellular automaton model is applied for the simulation of personnel movement.4. The space model and personnel movement model are established in this paper. Then the simulation software is developed, and the personnel boarding process simulation is accomplished. Therefore, the accessibility of the reconstructed ship can be accessed.
