Designed Of Meter System Based On Power Line Carrier

Power Line Communication(PLC) is the generic name of a particular communication method using the power line as the transmission medium for the transmission of voice or data, is a power system communication using transmission line as the carrier signal transmission medium.In today’s society, no electricity no human, electricity network covers almost the entire human space. So, without the re-laying of the communication network, we can cost savings by using power lines as the communicaiton medium; Power line has high mechanical strength and can transmit signal reliably. So, it will become a very suitable transmission medium after getting rid of the problem of the electrical signal interference. With the rapid development of China’s power industry, the system of one house-one meter has been basically popularized, the use of automated meter reading technology has been applied and achieved good results after replaceing the traditional manual meter reading automation.At the beginning of this paper, I analyzed the subject needs, the overall framework, the hardware requirements and the communication protocol of data transfer, and finally, I analyzed, compared and determined the development programs. After understanding of the use of the hardware architecture, analyzing the communication protocols, I write software program of the whole system, and achieve the function of the PC terminal and the concentrator module. By studying the core technology, I finally completed the selectiong of hardware, the design of software of the whole system, and achieved the overall function of the system. Also, I tested it, and verified the accuracy of the system communication. At the same time, this paper details the reader to the programming ideas of the author and it’s work mode. Through the learning of this paper, you can clearly understand the overall architecture of this system, and facilitate your own learning.
