Design And Development Of The Field Control Station Of Distributed Control System

Distributed Control System is a new control system, with the control process of large industrial production and their increasingly complex relationship, from the point of view of integrated automation of production process, following the principle of decomposition and coordination in the system engineering, with microprocessor as the core, and it is developed combining the control technology, the communication technology and the CRT technology. Distributed Control System is widely used in the control of each industry production process, getting remarkable economic and social benefits. It has been used in the power plants for10years in our country, and it has powerful function, and it has improved the overall control performance of the unit, used the resources effectively and rationally, improved the automation level of the production process of power plants, and made the management level of the power plant up to a new level. In the whole Distributed Control System, Field Control Station is the most important part, bearing the task of data acquisition, data broadcast, real-time computing and data backup of the whole system, so the design of Field Control Station is very important for the reliability, real-time and stability of DCS, and it is the key link in the developing process of the whole Distributed Control System.This paper studies the structure and the software and hardware structure of Distributed Control System, discusses the structure and features of the QNX real-time platform, and studies the application of QNX system. Combined with the need of real projects, I have written and debugged the system program, the execution program and the communication program with the field I/O module, and finished the software design and development of the Field Control Station in GDPF-VI system. Through long time of copying machine test, the function of Field Control Station is designed perfectly, and the work such as reading card, operation, data broadcast and data backup work etc. is normal, which has high reliability, good real-time and can satisfy the need of thermotechnical automation control of power plants.
