The combination of welding technology, automatic control technology and robottechnology has already been widely used in the welding of automobile andengineering machinery, became the main process of the welding. Manufacturingprocess innovation, the application of new materials, in pushing welding technologydevelopment and improve, welding production lines are fully automated directiongradually.This topic Design of Control System for Automatic Welding Production Line ofthe Boom of Concrete-pump-truck is a cooperation projects of theElectromechanical-hydraulic Laboratory of Hunan University with an enterprise, thepaper through the research of implementing in welding production process onautomatic production line, try the modern means of control technology used in thetransformation of traditional industrial technology, to promote engineering andtechnology, achieve the purpose of improving the field of construction machineryproduction level of automation. The successful implementation of this exploration isof great significance and practical value for comprehensively promote informationand automation level of the manufacturing enterprises for the future, such asmachinery, engineering equipment, manufacturing and other fields to play a good rolemodel transformation.To meet the actual needs of production as the starting point, the welding processof the system is comprehensively analyzed in the paper, carried out process analysison the boom, detailing the station distribution and the working process of the stationand the welding program to determine the workflow of the whole system. Accordingto the characteristics of welding and process requirements, established the systemcomposition and function of each component. PLC as control core in the productionline control unit, industrial computer aided control, to achieve real-time control ofwelding robot, welding fixtures, sensors, detection and monitoring part.In the analysis of one of the station as an example, analyzed the process ofwelding work station, the corresponding welding control requirements, analyzed theinput and output control signals, and had I/O address assignment, finally designedthe control sequence action table of PLC. And analysis of the system may be runninginterference, respectively, from three aspects of the working environment control system, hardware and software to take measures to improve anti-interference ability.The fieldbus and industrial Ethernet networks has been studied and analyzed,decided in way of adopting field bus control network, according to the actual weldingprocess, by using distributed I/O to realize the construction of distributed controlnetwork,using the industry to Ethernet and switch networks to achieve theconstruction of information networks.For the application of welding technology for automatic welding line, the studieson design of the control system of automatic welding line on the boom carried out inthe topics, designing and researching around the key technology in the weldingproduction line control system, proposes feasible control system design, is anexperiment in the field of welding production line design.
