3GPP LTE (Long Term Evolution) is a high data rate,low delay and based on full IP network ofmobile communication system,regarded as mainstream technology of evolution from3G to4G.Thispaper refers to the LTE physical layer protocol,achieves the LTE downlink simulation in MATLABenvironment,evaluates the performance of the key technologies MIMO and HARQ. LTE works inhigher frequency bands and adopts MIMO technology,needs to introduce different indoorconstruction schemes.This paper also studies the design of LTE indoor coverage and puts forwardthe corresponding solutions.Firstly,based on the LTE physical layer protocol,with physical downlink shared channel(PDSCH) as a model,in modular analysis methods,this paper provides the system structure ofrealizing downlink simulation and the realization of each module principle,simulates the keytechnologies MIMO and HARQ,analyzes their performance.Secondly, according to the technical characteristics of LTE system,references the experience of2G and3G indoor network construction,discusses the construction scheme of LTE indoor coverage,gives the basic principles of LTE indoor distribution system construction,puts forward LTE indoorcoverage planning scheme and analyzes the key link of interference analysis,capacity requirementsanalysis,and coverage performance analysis,gets the system interference isolation degree.This paperalso proposes a dual-channel building programs to implement LTE MIMO capabilities.Thirdly,this paper combines with engineering practice,according to the weak characteristics ofhigh-rise hotel indoor signal coverage,designs a scheme of LTE covering the high-level hotel indoorscenarios together with2G/3G systems accordance with relevant standards,gives system diagram ofthe design in detail and the principle diagram of covering the floors,also analyzes the feasibility ofthe scheme.
