With the development of computer technology and network technology, the use of the LAN can be a good solution to the centralized management of decentralized control, because of this, remote monitoring and control is widely used in the occasion which with large number of devices and wide distribution. When the monitoring and control objects located within few kilometers, LAN networking in this case has many advantages such as lower cost, short time-consuming, if the communication environment is terrible, fiber is the best choose. We know that the advanced air pressure system for normal mining work is very important, a high degree of automated, fully functional control system can greatly improve efficiency, ensure the mining work safety and reliable.On the basis of analysis of monitoring object, the system hardware architecture and software function were designed. The system consists of PC monitoring software, communication modules and signal collection terminal, the integration of sensor technology, computer technology and optical fiber communication technology. Signal collection terminal was the core of controlling, by the STC12C5412AD MCU; including A/D chip, communications circuit design which is composed of a RS232chip,4road analog input circuit design and2road digital output circuit design. PC monitoring software using Visual C++6.0as a design platform, designed a communication module, the module of the real-time curve, historical query module, data reporting module, database module, Intelligent Valve opening and closing module and so on. The paper also gives the diagram of the hardware circuit connection and the main of the flowchart and the source code during completing the process of the signal collection software and the system software.All functions of the system were tested and the results were showed in pictures in this paper.This system has been used in a mine, practice shows that this system is easy to be extended and maintained, convenient operation, simple structure, friendly interface and features.
