Surface electromyography, SEMG is a one-dimensional time series signal, which reflects the bioelectrical changes of neuromuscular system. It can be detected by biological electrode over skin. Since the noninvasive characteristic of SEMG, it has a wide range of application in the medical rehabilitation and human computer interface fields, such as clinical diagnosis, sports medicine, prosthetic control, remote control robot, virtual reality, gesture recognition and so on.Based on the research of the domestic and overseas SEMG signal acquisition system and wireless sensor network communication technology, this thesis designs a set of array SEMG signal acquisition and transmission system, using WIFI high-speed wireless transmission technology. In order to guarantee the consistency and synchronicity of the data acquisition, solve mass data transmission problem, this thesis puts forward a kind of data transmission network, combining the cable sensor network and WIFI network(CSN-WIFI), including the data acquisition node, data center and PC client. According to the characteristics of the network, this thesis designs a strict synchronization, real-time transport protocol, including time synchronization mechanism and pipeline data aggregation technology. The thesis analyzes and introduces the synchronization mechanism between different data acquisition nodes and the data aggregation cycle’s influence on the system throughput, delay, packet loss rate and energy in details. The system can collect128-channel SEMG signal on human body forearm at the same time and transmit the data wirelessly based on the TCP/IP protocol. Experimental results show that the whole transmission network throughput rate is2Mbps, while the time delay is no more than0.1s and the average loss rate of data package is less than1%, laying the foundation of the research on the new generation of human computer interface.
