With the rapid development of China’s economy, the application of construction machinery in infrastructure, urbanization construction and other fields becomes more and more widely. Construction machinery controller as one of the core components of the construction machinery, affecting the vehicle reliability, economy and maintainability. With the rapid increase in demand for construction machinery, users put forward higher requirements of its function and performance.Due to the earlier research and the huger investment in the field of construction machinery controller, construction machinery controller products generally monopolized by foreign products in the market. However most of the domestic products have no independent intellectual property rights, because those products are secondary developed on the basis of the foreign controller. Only small part of the product has independent intellectual property rights and the performance is not as good as foreign controller. In order to break the monopoly of foreign construction machinery controller, developing the controller system, which has completely independent intellectual property rights and perform fairly with foreign controller, will have a better social significance and higher practical value.According to market needs and combined with the existing technology of construction machinery controller, this subject designed the car multimedia ECU system. The system uses the ARM11microprocessor as arithmetic processing unit, cooperated with peripheral circuits such as data acquisition modules, data storage module, human-computer interaction module, data communication module, and multimedia modules. The controller has the ability of switch signal input-output, analog signal acquisition, data storage, GPS positioning and GPRS remote communication, CAN communication, LCD display, video capture as well as the characteristics of the audio and video playback capabilities.On the hardware side, this paper complete system circuit schematic design and PCB diagram design. As well as complete the low level driver of system function module on the software side. In the end, the functionality and reliability of system function module was tested. Experimental results show that the parameters of the design meet the design requirements, running reliably, and will have a good prospect.
