| Group management protocol is very important in the network protocol. Its mainly function in the host and router is information exchange. Router gets the information about the connected segment in multicast services. With the rapid development of technology in Internet, IPv6multicast group management protocol MLD protocol is updated to MLDv1and MLDv2. Nowadays, the development of the embedded system is becoming more and more important especially in lightweight system. It will be more extensible and wider to support group management protocol in embedded system. As an internationally recognized project team, TAHI PROJECT commits to the IPv6protocol test technology development, and provides the test tool for the protocol conformance test. It is necessary to validate the MLDv2protocol on embedded system using the test tool. TAHI currently provides two methods of manual and custom. Custom method without external intervention eliminates mis-operation and save test time. Existing custom automatic operations effectively support Linux, FreeBSD and other relatively mature and widely platform. However, lightweight embedded system, such as ThreadX, receives mo support currently. Therefore, this paper mainly focuses on the lightweight embedded system, a custom behavior rule with signal sending by serial port has been proposed. The method can be in the same type of lightweight system, and achieving the entire automation test. The main research work is summarized as follows:a) Compare with IPv4multicast routing protocol (IGMP) and MLDv1, MLDv2, in order to further analysis of MLDv2interception terminal implementing method.b) Implementation of the MLDv2protocol on lightweight embedded system. c) Research and analysis on TAHI test principle and mechanism, understanding the manual method implementation on TAHI test.d) Research and analysis on TAHI automation test in Linux system.e) A method is put forward for the first time, based on a custom behavior rule and through the serial port to send the signal method to implement TAHI test in lightweight embedded system.f) Based on the TAHI automation test on embedded system, to verify the MLDv2protocol. |
