Therefore, in the water supply monitoring mode of city management system and monitoring technology is more important.Based on the theory of the general framework of the water supply automation, this paper gives a overall design of the remote monitoring system for the water supply automation. According to the water supply in Baoding, it illustrates the need for system design and its main function, together with the system software and hardware platform.In the actual research, through to the actual environment experiment.The main work of this thesis includes:Set up the remote monitoring network for Baoding water supply system.For the networking scheme of the remote monitoring system for the water supply automation in Baoding,by its own needs,the article presents the GPRS networking scheme from several different modes of networking;Set up the structure of the remote monitoring system model, According to the network information automation level concept to establish a hierarchical model.and the system hardware structure. Through the computer network topology concept help, erected three layer C/S system hardware structure;using the remote terminal unit (RUT) for data collection, using A/D conversion finally collected data, to achieve the purpose of remote monitoring;Finally, through the system of Baoding water supply in the specific application, the feasibility of this system has been indicated.
